The wheelchair-accessible path leading through Reith im Alpbachtal, offering many impressive views starts at the Reitherkogelbahn car park. The path leads northwards to Sonnbichl.

At the "Neue Mittelschule" a trail to the left takes one to Tyrol's first Hildegard von Bingen Garden in REITH i.A. The garden is a perfect spot to discover the medicinal herb garden, designed according to Hildegard von Bingens’ holistic teachings. The garden acts as an open place of self-discovery and can reinforce one’s own sources of strength. The Hildegard garden is open every day and visits are particularly worthwhile between April and October.

The path continues in a westerly direction and shortly one reaches the Samer-bench at Seerain. The granite bench is an ideal point to bathe in the surrounding silence and feel the power permeating from this place.

Further, towards the west the path leads to the viewing platform, where one looks down on the castles and Matzen Park below. Letting ones gaze wander one is rewarded with views of the majestic Rofan Range

Follow the path in a southerly direction towards Neudorf until the crossroad with the Dorfstraße. Turn left at Galerie Schmidt and continue eastwards along the Hildegard-von-Bingen-Path back to Reith village centre.

After approx. 350m, turn left and follow the Seeleit trail to the village centre. There are several inviting benches along the path leading around the Reith Lake. A peak through one of the Visholos (innovative info cubes) highlights the four elements - be in for a surprise! The view of the village with the lake at its centre is charming. Reith is home to several cafes, restaurants, shops and banks as well as public toilets. The toilets are easily accessible on the way from the path to the centre. The tourist office is opposite the Gemeindeamt (local authorities). From here on follow the Dorfstrasse in a southerly direction and turn left at the crossroads back to the Reitherkogelbahn. During Reitherkogelbahn gondola, lift running times toilets are also accessible here.

A visit to Reith promises an enchanting atmosphere and leaves Hildegard path visitors relaxed, with new ideas - perhaps for their own garden.
