Sunrise on the mountain
Experience the sunrise from the Wiedersbergerhorn at 2.127m!
At the break of dawn, take the Wiedersbergerhornbahn to the top station.
From there you can walk independently in approx. 45 minutes to the Wiedersbergerhorn peak at 2,127 m. Once there, you will be able to experience a fascinating sunrise and beautiful panoramic views.

Ticket for the ascent at dawn with the Wiedersbergerhornbahn mountain lift.
Sturdy shoes and headlamps are essential!
- Walking time: approx. 45 minutes to the peak
- Breakfast: Hornalm. Please book in advance. Breakfast not included in the price!
- Tickets: at all Alpbachtal tourist offices until the day before or at the ticket desk in the morning (additional charge) or online on SEPP - My Alpbachtal App
- Sturdy shoes and headlamps are essential! Cancelled in case of bad weather (tickets can be used for another date in the year)!
- The hike is at your own risk!
- Parking tickets are only checked once normal lift operation starts (from 9:00 a.m. onwards).

15.08.2024 5:00 – 5:45 a.m. (sunrise at 6:12 a.m.)
29.08.2024 5:15 – 6:00 a.m. (sunrise at 6:31 a.m.)
The gondola lift runs for 45 minutes approx. half an hour after sunrise for the descent.
