Lake Reintal via ferrata

The quick accessibility, the perfect infrastructure (parking lot, bathing lake, restaurants, bus) as well as the short approach and the indescribable views over the lake plateau and the Lower Inn Valley make the via ferrata with two routes something very special.

Length 4.75 km
Duration 2:48 h
Altitude
421 hm
435 hm

The via ferrata offers two routes with a rope length of approx. 250 running metres: route 1, difficulty level C/D and route 2, a sporty via ferrata variant "E", which is very popular with experienced via ferrata climbers due to its steepness.

The entrance path begins just a little to the east of the "Kramsach Parkplatz Halbinsel" bus stop. Walk through the forest (approx. 20 minutes) to the rope-up and entry point.

Tip: a a detour to the beautiful waterfall shortly before the entrance is well worthwhile - recharge your batteries and enjoy the view. Afford yourself the time. It would be a pity to miss out on all the via ferrata Lake Reintal impressions:

  • great views over the lake plateau and the Lower Inn Valley
  • Recharge your batteries at the beautiful waterfall near the entrance
  • when you've finished climbing end the day at the lake

The descent takes about 1 hour, initially via a forest track and then via the existing hiking "Bärengrube" trail to Lake Krumm and back to Lake Reintal.
