Day 2 - Alpbachtal/Wildschönau Mountainbike-Feeder Ride
Day 2 – difficult: Alpbachtal/Wildschönau Mountainbike-Feeder Ride from Reith im Alpbachtal to Brixlegg along the Innradweg – bear right towards Rattenberg – Radfeld and Kundl – entrance to the Kundl Gorge/bridge and follow the mountain bike route no. 361 to the Kragenalm – Kragenjoch – Oberau – Mühltal – Auffach, continue along the route no. 351 to the Gernalm – route no. 360 through the Lueger Valley to Inneralpbach – back to Reith im Alpbachtal on the main road (L5)
From Reith im Alpbachtal village centre cycle towards Alpsteg, cross the main road at the tunnel and follow the signs for Brixlegg/Mehrn. In Brixlegg at the roundabout take the first exit and turn left passing the Montanwerk cycling towards the River Inn and the Innradweg. Stay on this cycling path to Kundl. Turn right at the bridge in Kundl and cycle though Kundl to the main road. Cross the road and cross the bridge at the Kundl Gorge. Turn left and after approx. 200m right and follow the mountain bike route no. 339. Follow the no. 361 along a forest track, in parts a steep climb, to the Kragenalm.
Continue from the Kragenalm to the Kragen Ridge. You will need to either push or shoulder your bike for the short stretch to the Achentalalm. Follow the gentle downhill route to Oberau and Mühltal. Continue towrads Auffach. Turn right at the mountain lift and follow the mountain bike route no. 351 uphill to tthe Gern saddle. At the water reservoir follow the no. 360 down to the Lueger Valley and Inneralpbach.
Follow the L5 main road to Reith im Alpbachtal.

Equipment | Closed in winter! All MTB and bike routes are closed for safety reasons from 1st November until 1st April of the following year. These routes are not cleared and many MTB routes are exposed to avalanches. Depending on snow conditions, some routes may need to remain closed beyond 1st April.
