Climb the Wiedersberger Horn
Beautiful peak hike up the Wiedersbergerhorn from the top station with splendid views. The Wiedersbergerhorn is reached easily (approx. 1 hour walking time).
Reach the Wiedersbergerhorn peak from the top station in approx. 1 hour and 300m elevation gain. There are family friendly alternatives for the rope secured sections. After approx. 1 hour one reaches the peak.The views over the Ziller Valley Alps, towards the Achensee, over the Rofan Range, the Brandenberg and Kitzbühel Alps as well as the panorama over the Inn Valley towards Innsbruck and Bavaria are stupendous!
Descend via a short steep stretch to the Hornalm and back to the Wiedersbergerhorn top station via the panorama path (A40); either to the north or south of the Wiedersbergerhorn – approx. 1 hour in total.
The Lauserland at the top station awaits children its fun play areas. Buckle into one of the "Lauser Sauser" Alpine coasters sledges and wizz down the course. Quench hunger and thirst at one of the adjacent mountain huts the Dauerstoaalm or the Berggasthof Hornboden.
Stamina allowing, take the Teichweg path down to the middle station via the reservoir with its small playground and pick nick area. Reckon approx. 2 hours for this entirely downhill route. For all those with tired feet or who are exhausted from romping about in the Lauserland the gondola is ready to take one back down the valley.
