Summer Nights Open Air Cinema in the Alpbachtal

From 9th - 16th August 2024, the WIR31 Summer Nights Open Air Cinema will take place at seven unusual locations. The towns of Alpbach, Brixlegg, Brandenberg, Münster, Kramsach, Reith i. A. and the town of Rattenberg become the impressive backdrop for the annual open-air cinema under the stars. The screenings start at 9:00 p.m. each night (except in Reith i.A. at 8:15 pm).

Plot:

SUPER MARIO BROS. - Animation, from 6 years, 1 hr. 32 min.

Plumber Mario and his brother Luigi run a relatively unsuccessful small plumbing company. When Brooklyn is flooded, the brothers see their big chance - what better advertisement than saving an entire borough from water? But things turn out quite differently, as the two discover a portal to a magical world in a mysterious green tube and inadvertently end up in the mushroom kingdom of Princess Peach, who is surprisingly competent in Mariatal Arts. But the colourful mushroom world is confronted with a great danger: The nasty turtle king Bowser wants to expand his power and destroy the kingdom. When he is separated from Luigi, Mario not only has to fight back Bowser with the help of the somewhat clumsy mushroom Toad, but also find his missing brother at the same time.
