Tratzberg Castle
Let yourself be enchanted and experience history at first hand!
In addition to the tried and tested audio tour (in nine languages), you can experience 500 years of castle history live with the unique 360° virtual reality tour. See with your own eyes how the former stronghold of Emperor Maximilian I fell victim to a fire in 1492, only to become the famous Renaissance jewel that has since towered over the Tyrolean Inn Valley near Schwaz.
Afterwards, with an audio guide, former lords of the castle, such as the Fuggers, will guide you "personally" through the original furnished rooms and armouries. Discover hidden secret doors, marvel at the famous Habsburg Hall and learn how history was made here - and still is, as Tratzberg is still the residence of the count Goëss-Enzenberg.
A special highlight is the recently restored Renaissance painting in the magnificent inner courtyard. The artistic murals can be admired during a guided tour of the castle.
