Round tour
During your tour of the Kufstein Fortress, explore along 21 different stations the impressive open-air area with its typical fortifications, such as the Elisabeth Battery with its cannon guns or the castle rotunda. You can also take a look into the approximately 60-metre "Tiefer Brunnen" (deep well) and discover the secret of the underground rock passage. Finally, visit the various onsite museums as well as the alternating special exhibitions and more.
Events have been held here since the fortress' existence
There has always been plenty happening at the fortress. In days gone by, these past events were looting and conquest. Fortunately, times have changed: today, armies at the gates of the fortress are a thing of the past. In fact, up to 4,200 guests pay this unique venue a visit for a range of events. Be it open-air events in the roofable fortress arena, individually planned private or corporate events of every kind or seminars and incentives as well as weddings.
